Tumwater is a city next to both Olympia and Lacey in Thurston County, Washington. It lies near where the Deschutes River enters Budd Inlet, at the southernmost point of Puget Sound. Tumwater make for an easy commute for those who work in the Olympia or Lacey area. About 30 minutes from JBLM’s main gate also make it a good location for military service members’ stationed at JBLM.
